About Charlotte

From a very young age I recall being aware of a desire to help people. By the ripe age of seven I could be found massaging my father's back for a upwards of an hour. Massage has always felt natural and comfortable for me, but I never considered it as a career until after some real world life experience. I grew up with a strong medical background - my mother a registered nurse and my father an orthodontist. My work in Maya Abdominal Massage and clinical massage is the culmination of my life-long passion.

I am a proud graduate of Texas Healing Arts Institute's Clinical Massage Therapy programand am currently a clinical instructor there. I have been fortunate to study Maya Abdominal Massage . Dr. Rosita Arvigo, D.N., who has spent the last thirty years studying and teaching Maya medicine.

I am also a Reiki master. My knowledge and intuition of the energetic flow of the body through Reiki together with my background in Psychology and experience with massage enables me to assess each individual client from a full mind, body and spirit perspective. I continually strive to broaden my understanding of the body's structure and ability of movement through the practice of feldenkrais and yoga.
